Privacy and Security
The basic service offered by Golden Frog is a bit flawed. It’s important to note that this is not the fault of the company. The basic package offers only the PPTP protocol which is known to be less than optimal. Because of this, we do not recommend the package to most consumers.
If you choose the pro or premium versions, however, you are privy to OpenVPN which leaves you undetectable. If you want a VPN service, you want security. You can’t go wrong with either of these packages. The company claims to not keep any logs of subscriber activity and, without proof to the contrary, we take them at their word.
